I love photography and I love WordPress, so it goes without saying that I have some favorite photography websites I follow and keep an eye on. My favorite source of WP Themes is Themeforest. I absolutely love that site as it has the best themes available.

Photography Themes the Pro Use
First up is Matt K. Matt is a fantastic landscape photographer and all around good guy. We worked together at KelbyOne and I respect him a great deal. Matt is now Vice-President of Photography at OnOne and Sony Artisan of Light. Matt’s tutorials and classes are simply amazing. Here’s a snap of his site (click to enlarge).
OK, so Matt uses the LAND theme by Dannci. This theme is super slick and very clean as you can tell.

Joel Grimes is a consummate photo pro! He is one of the nicest guys you will meet and is a master at the complexities of the recorded image. Joel’s site is a nice combination of blog, marketing engine, and portfolio. (click image to enlarge)
Joel’s site uses Salient by ThemeNectar. A very nice an fully functional theme with lots of bells and whistles.

Lindsay Adler is an amazing fashion photographer and is an exceptional instructor. Here blog is cool in that it really showcases her imagery well. Check it out (click to enlarge)
Lindsay uses a theme for her blog called Ink by Codestag. It is designed for “story tellers” which Lindsay certainly is a good one!
I really like Dave Black and I really like his site. It forces you to view one image at a time and minimizes distractions. It is what I’d call a “traditional portfolio” site but it’s all done with WordPress. using a theme called Skylab by MegaTheme. Skylab is a SUPER flexible wp portfolio theme and one you should not overlook. It has a lot to offer and multiple looks to choose from.
Moose is quite a character and a great photographer. If he’s not strapped into some flying jalopy from WWII he’s out shooting rare birds. He’s all about things that fly!I got to experience Moose’s passion up close and personal while strapped into one of those flying museums. Great times and fantastic photos.
This theme is called Lucid and it’s available at Elegant Themes. It has a bunch of image gallery and portfolio variations and has quite a number of different looks to it.
Scott Kelby is a best selling author and head of KelbyOne.com, an online training site for photographers. Scott’s personal blog is over at ScottKelby.com
Scott’s site is built with the theme SmartBlog by Theme_Pixels. It’s very clean and well suited for the tutorials and affiliate ads that he runs. Scott has famously said “You can make bank running a blog” and he does indeed!
